A inflação acumulada em 12 meses, medida pelo Índice Nacional de Preços ao Consumidor Amplo, foi de 4,39% em abril, acima dos 4,14% registrados em março.
Em abril, o índice subiu quase 1% (0,67%).
No ano, este ano, a alta foi de 2,60%.
O IBGE (Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística) divulgou o resultado ainda há pouco.
